I went to ssupport an ailing man, he had a dog.
My task on the spot, was to create a care plan, with no much to flog
I became entranced, by the dedication, the man and the dog shared.
As time went by, I came to understand why, the man and the dog fared.
My time has run, it did elapse too soon, I served a meal to the man.

On my way out, I met a woman, she said hi to me,
She is the dog walker, she knows the man, she explained to me,
She walks the dog, and feeds him, and leaves water on the side,
My time was off, I waved bye to the lady, we will meet again.

This was juts before the pandemic. I was working in Dorset, supporting people in their homes with the stated ai of promoting independence. You can call this resource saving or simply a cover up for inneficiency by the much lauded NHS. The society was looking ways of washing off the guilt of neglect. It was the society in its entirety, the government, the local authorities, the famiies. All of them
